1/16/2017 0 Comments Splash of ColorI've been trying to make my portfolio more diverse, so I went out of my way today to setup this shot. I took a black plate to use as the base and then used a blue towel in the background to block the mirror's reflection (I was shooting on top of a sink). The towel also added color and texture to my shot since I did not have any sort of professional backdrop available to me. I borrowed a 20 year old SunTax Speedlite to increase the power of my camera's flash and keep my exposure low (1/500). It took some time to setup but in the end, it was worth it.
