I shot this a couple days ago on a cloudy and windy day. I used a Manfrotto tripod which I highly recommend for shooting timelapses as they are lightweight and sturdy. However, in order to shoot a timelapse, you also need a timing mechanism. A lot of DSLR cameras now come with an interval timer shooting mechanisms installed inside of the camera (which is what I used), but if your camera does not have one and you want to shoot a timelapse, a remote timer would be extremely helpful. These can be found online or in your local camera store.
